Life and Death
Humans are social animals but funnily we are always making petty judgments. Its good to nip all the negative crap in the bud and to begin to tame this part of the wild mind. Stopping the endless appraiser chattering away in our consciousness and then observe ones mind free to some degree from all the mindless judgments that make up a part of the sentient space we inhabit.
With experiential realization you may realize there is no one self but many selves in ones single mind.
For me I feel right with the three Jewels
1.I respectively seek refuge in Buddha.
2. I seek refuge in the Dharma.
3.I seek refuge in the Sangha.
"Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. And overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life." – Nelson Mandela
"I want all the cultures of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I have no wish too be swept off my/our feet by any." Mohatma Gandhi. (Bapu)
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor." Desmund Tutu.
